WEPS25 Wireless Pressure Data Logger

The WEPS25 wireless pressure data logger replaces the gauge you have to walk up to. Thread it into the port you want to watch, open the app on your phone or tablet, and you get a live reading plus a stored record you can export to a spreadsheet when you are done.

Bluetooth range is roughly 300 feet line of sight, about triple what most wireless pressure sensors manage, and readings update as fast as 200 times per second, fast enough to resolve spikes a mechanical needle smooths right over. Nine gauge ranges from 5 to 10,000 PSIG in your choice of 1/4″-18 NPT or 1/8″-27 NPT. Designed and built by Phoenix Sensors in Arizona.

Choosing Your Range and Port

Pressure range. Choose a range roughly one and a half to two times the highest pressure you expect. Too small and you have no headroom for spikes; too large and you give up resolution, because accuracy is a percentage of the full range. Rough starting points: air filters and low air systems 5 to 15 PSIG, pools, spas, irrigation and water systems 50 to 100 PSIG, shop air, compressors and well systems 300 PSIG, A/C and refrigerant service 500 PSIG, hydraulics, presses and heavy equipment 1,000 to 10,000 PSIG.

Pressure port. Match the fitting already on your equipment. 1/4″-18 NPT is the common thread across North American air, water, and hydraulic systems and is the right pick if you are unsure. 1/8″-27 NPT suits smaller equipment, compact manifolds, and tight installs. Adapting between thread sizes is the most common cause of a leaking install, so order the port you actually have. Other fittings, including BSPP and UNF AN, are available on request.

HVAC high side and low side monitoring, water and hydraulic pumps, pool and spa filter loops, water trucks and liquid tanks, air compressors and pneumatic lines, air filter loading checks, and presses and heavy equipment up to 10,000 PSIG. Compatible with liquid, air, and gas media suitable for a stainless steel port.

WEPS25 or WEPS04?

We sell two wireless Bluetooth pressure sensors. Choose the WEPS04 for simple wireless monitoring while you are standing nearby. Choose the WEPS25 when the sensor sits farther away, when the environment runs hot, or when you want to leave it installed long term: it reads to about 300 feet instead of 100, handles up to 221°F instead of 185°F, adds Beacon Mode, and carries a larger battery rather than a coin cell.

Common Questions

Do I need anything besides the sensor? A phone or tablet and one of the apps above. No gateway, receiver, controller, or wiring.

Does it work with iPhone? Yes. The WEXS apps are on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Will it alert me if pressure changes? No. The WEPS25 displays and records while connected to your device. It does not alarm or notify. Contact us if you need unattended alerting.

What does PSIG mean? Gauge pressure, measured relative to the air around it, exactly the way the mechanical gauge on your equipment reads. It is the right choice for nearly every field application.

Can I leave it installed permanently? Yes. IP65 rated with a stainless steel port, and the battery lasts up to 2.5 years at a one reading per minute interval. Faster sampling shortens that considerably.
